2016-2018 project which involved the creation of portraits of women known on Instagram.

The aim was to create contemporary portraits through a classic technique such as oil painting.

In the digital age, submerged by millions of images, I choose those "to be saved" on canvas, building a new story on them: the original image is reworked and flanked by words and hashtags "painted".

The paintings have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions and won the second prize in the international painting competition in Terni in 2017 with the following motivation: "an interesting conceptual pictorial project, connected to the latest mass media, even if completely intuitive, is brought back into a formal rigor that highlights elegance and mastery of an evolved pictorial technique ».
