Per me i mesi estivi sono stati densi di sfide per alcuni aspetti personali, ma anche ricchi di soddisfazioni artistiche: tra l'altro pochi giorni fa ho saputo di aver vinto il primo premio giuria tecnica per la mia copia dei "Piallatori di parquet" di Gustave Caillebotte in un concorso a Terni.
Sono oltremodo felice perché è anche grazie a quel dipinto che da bambina mi sono innamorata della pittura.
Colgo l'occasione per invitarti a visitare la mia prossima mostra personale che inaugura sabato 24 settembre a Montecatini Terme (PT): un felice ritorno nella mia città natale.
Esporrò una decina di nuovi dipinti inediti che hanno come tema la natura e l'ecologia.
Nata da alcune prime opere create durante il lockdown, questa recente serie "NEL VERDE" ha come tema il mondo vegetale, raffigurato in esterno o in ambienti domestici.
La presenza umana è appena suggerita dagli oggetti e dall'arredo.
Le piante si offrono come "giungla urbana", riparo e fuga, fonte di "ossigeno" fisico e mentale.
Sedie e poltrone vuote sono un invito a sedersi e a riconnettersi con la natura, soffermandosi sulla questione ecologica sempre più incalzante al giorni d’oggi.

a few days ago I learned that I had won the first prize for my copy of Gustave Caillebotte's "Floor planers" in an art contest in Terni!
I am extremely happy because it is also thanks to that masterpiece that as a child I fell in love with painting.

Born from some first works painted during the lockdown, this recent series "IN THE GREEN"
has as its theme the plant world, depicted outdoors or in domestic environments.
The human presence is hardly suggested by the objects and furnishings.
Plants offer themselves as "urban jungle", shelter and escape, source of physical and mental "oxygen".
Empty chairs and sofas are an invitation to stop and reconnect with nature,
focusing on the increasingly pressing ecological issue nowadays.
La mostra si terrà nei locali comuni dello SmART Hotel Bartolini, un hotel con una passione per l'arte in centro città che da anni ospita artisti da tutto il mondo.
